Velvet Red Media is operated by Tahnya Ballard.  Velvet Red Media covers events, people and things of interest in the Sacramento region.  Articles about the events are published on this website, and interviews on-site were produced through the “Velvet Red Room” radio show broadcast on the Voice of Sacramento starting in 2006.

Listening Guide

Velvet Red Room will resume airing in late September 2010. There are three (3) ways to listen to the show on the Voice of Sacramento.

1. The easiest is through the internet. Click here to begin streaming the Voice of Sacramento radio station.
2. The second easiest is to use the SAP selection while on Comcast Cable Channel 17.  Click here for instructions and scroll down to “If you have a newer TV or VCR …”
3. The third eaasist is to connect your Comcast Cable to your FM radio.  The instructions can be found here.  Scroll down to “Hear The Voice on Cable and Internet”.
