Because Access Sacramento is commercial free, and is public access, it is governed by certain rules prescribed by the Federal Communications Commission.

Velvet Red Room, the radio show, is allowed to obtain sponsors in the from of "Underwriting", which includes mention on the show.

The show has several expenses, including travel, and also needs to purchase a digital recorder.  In addition, Velvet Red Media has been granted a credentialed press pass to the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance (http://www.pebblebeachconcours.net/) in August and needs underwriting funds to cover the cost of this trip.
